Meet Creative Connie

A creative spark that grew into something much bigger.

For as long as I can remember, I have been driven by creativity, resourcefulness and the joy of bringing people together. Before having children, I worked in corporate marketing and team building, a background that became the perfect foundation for the work I do today.

My journey into art instruction started more than 16 years ago when I volunteered in my daughters' Junior Kindergarten classrooms. Students and teachers loved the sessions, and before long I was teaching older grades and hosting evening teacher paint nights.

Over the years, Creative Connie grew into a diverse event business. I have been honoured to teach therapy through art in women's transition homes and men's rehabilitation programs while also leading corporate team building, fundraisers, private parties, birthdays and community gatherings.

I would love to bring some creative energy to your next group or event. ♡

Trade the boardroom routine for paintbrushes.

Creative Connie paint classes are designed to be easy for organizers and genuinely fun for teams. Turnout and interest are consistently strong, and the format gives coworkers a chance to connect outside their normal roles.

In-officeThe most cost-effective option. Setup begins about 20 minutes before the two-hour class, with roughly 20 minutes for cleanup afterward.
Off-siteMeet at a restaurant or other venue for lunch or dinner, then move straight into the painting class.
SuppliesTable coverings, premium paints, brushes, palettes, napkins, water cups, canvases and aprons are provided.

Bringing art into schools creates instant excitement. Students walk into a transformed room with colourful palettes, aprons and blank canvases ready to become something of their own.

12+ years teaching in elementary schoolsSpecializing in JK through Grade 5. The painting is selected with the teacher or organizer so the project fits the age group and occasion.

Pricing is based on the number of students. School events are commonly funded through a combination of the school budget and parent contributions. Contact Connie for custom per-student pricing.

Do participants need painting experience?

No. Events are guided step-by-step and designed to be enjoyable for beginners as well as experienced painters.

Do you bring the supplies?

Yes. Table coverings, paints, brushes, palettes, napkins, water cups, canvases and aprons can all be provided.

Can the painting match our theme?

Yes. Connie works with the organizer ahead of time to choose an age-appropriate or event-appropriate design.

Can our event raise money?

Yes. Fundraising is available for community groups and organizations, with event pricing customized around the fundraiser.

How do I get a price?

Pricing depends on the event type, location, group size, supplies and lesson format. Send the event details using the booking form for a custom quote.
